Biography
Josué Ortega Caro received his Bachelor's degree in 2014 from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Biology and his Doctoral Degree in 2022 from Baylor College of Medicine in Quantitative and Computational Biosciences. He is interested in developing machine learning models for spatiotemporal neural recordings and understanding the role of recurrent computation during visual processing. He became interested in neuroscience as a kid after watching the movie Bicentennial Man.
